Hi and welcome. The purpose of this is to try and show others that with some effort and forethought a more enjoyable and stressfree life is possible. Box pics
OK - this is a quick low-tech version of a photo of this larger box (taken hastily on living room floor!). It isn't quite finished - there's no lining yet and a catch is optional if wanted.
Lovely, you can't beat bare wood can you. I remember when my neighbours had some big gates made, they were quite strokeable. It was such a shame when they asked their builder to undercoat them in battleship grey!

About us and this blog
We are Sonia & Anthony. We live just outside Helston in Cornwall. (For reference Helston is the town at the top of the Lizard peninsular - the most southerly point in the UK.) We are trying to create a new way of life for ourselves, outside the current society definition of how we're supposed to live. Our intention is to share our experiences on this journey which will inspire others to do the same. We've left the blog open for anyone to comment - we'd love to hear your views on what we're doing and for you to share your experiences with us as well.
